Hey Foodies…!! How you all are…?? I hope everyone is good and healthy. Friends, Holi is coming, the festival of colours and it is incomplete without thandai. Thandai is a refreshing Indian cold drink made with a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, cardamom powder, saffron leaves, sugar, black pepper, melon seeds, milk, etc. I will tell you easiest way of making thandai.

Not only at the time of Holi, this is a great drink to serve during summers due to it’s cooling effect as the name itself tells “Thandai”. There are many thandai available in the market but no one can beat the taste of the homemade one.

So, today I will tell you how to make “Thandai Powder” and the speciality of it is that you can store it and can make instantly whenever you wants to drink thandai. During festivals, we have lot of work to do and if you can lessen your work then why not…? If you will make this “Thandai Powder” before only then you can make it instantly in just one minute at the time of Holi.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED…

  • Fennel Seeds (Thirty Gram)
  • Black Pepper (Five Gram)
  • Sugar (100 Gram)
  • Almonds (Sixty Gram)
  • Pistachio (Thirty Gram)
  • Melan Seeds (Thirty Gram)
  • Cardamom Powder (Ten Gram)
  • Saffron Leaves

THANDAI POWDER RECIPE….

  1. Firstly take thirty gram of fennel seeds in a grinder jar then add five gram of black pepper.
  2. Now take 100 gram of sugar and add three to four spoon of sugar from it in the grinder jar.
  3. Grind them all and make a fine powder of them. Then strain the powder in a bowl with the help of strainer.
  4. Some pieces will be there so again add them in the grinder jar and add two-three spoon of sugar. Again grind them well and again strain the powder. (Some pieces of fennel seeds remains ungrinded so keep them aside and use it for making fresh thandai)
  5. Now take sixty gram of almonds in a grinder jar then add thirty gram of pistachios, thirty gram of melon seeds, ten gram of cardamom powder, three to four spoon of sugar.
  6. Grind all of them nicely and make a fine powder of them also. Then strain the powder in the same bowl with the help of strainer.
  7. Some pieces will be there so again add them in the grinder jar and add all the remaining sugar from 100 gram of sugar and grind them well and again strain the powder.
  8. Mix both the types of powder well with each other and then add some saffron leaves and mix them nicely.
  9. Our “Thandai Powder” is ready. Now store it.

FOR MAKING THANDAI:

  1. Take one glass of milk and add three spoons of “Thandai Powder” and mix it well.
  2. Now add some ice cubes and our delicious Thandai is ready to serve.

Whenever you go out and if you take any drink made of lemon and mint leaves before going out then it makes you feel cool from inside.

Mint leaves are full of anti oxidants which helps in digestion. They work as a mouth freshner also. In summers, we often face dehydration and that is because of excess hot so we should continuously keep on hydrating our body.

You just have to make efforts for making the syrup and then you can make it instantly anytime whenever you wants to drink it. Lemon contains Vitamin C and it helps to boost up immunity. It reduces respiratory disease. Lemon Mint drink is a best healthy natural drink which gets ready quickly. This drink is not only healthy but very tasty as well.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Mint Leaves (One Bowl)
  • Lemon Juice (One Bowl)
  • Sugar (Two Bowls)
  • Salt (Half Spoon)
  • Black Salt (Half Spoon)
  • Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder
  • Edible Green Colour
  • Water

MINT LEMON SYRUP RECIPE…

  1. Firstly take one bowl of mint leaves. Clean them and then wash them properly.
  2. Then add the mint leaves in the grinder jar and add little water and make a paste of them. (If you want you can strain the paste but without straining also it gives very good taste)
  3. Now keep a wok on gas and add one bowl of water and two bowls of sugar. Let the sugar melt and stir it.
  4. When sugar is about to melt then add mint leaves paste. Mix it and then add half spoon of salt, half spoon of black salt, rosated cumin seeds powder. Mix everything nicely.
  5. Then add little edible green colour as it gives very good colour but it is optional if you don’t want to add then leave it. Mix it also nicely.
  6. Let it boil and keep on stirring. When it starts to boil then make the flame low and keep on stirring.
  7. When it becomes little thick then check it with finger whether it is sticky or not. If it is sticky that means it is ready. Then turn off the gas and add one bowl of lemon juice and mix it nicely.
  8. When it gets cool then store the syrup in a bottle and keep it in fridge and use whenever you wants to drink something cool.
  9. For making the drink, take one glass and add some ice cubes then two big spoons of Mint Lemon Syrup and then water. Mix it well.
  10. Our Mint Lemon Drink is ready to serve.

It is very tasty and healthy as it is made up of bottle gourd. Kids do not like to eat bottle gourd but if you will make puri of bottle gourd then they will like it a lot and in this way you will give healthy food to your kids. Make it for your guests and they will like it a lot as it will be more tasty than normal puri.

CHECK THE RECIPE OF “BOTTLE GOURD PURI” IN HINDI HERE

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Bottle Gourd
  • Wheat Flour (One Bowl)
  • Semolina (Four To Five Spoon)
  • Green Chilli
  • Spices (Salt- As per taste, Cumin Seeds- 3/4th Spoon, Turmeric Powder- 1/4th Spoon, Red Chilli Powder, Chilli Flakes, Asafoetida)
  • Water
  • Oil

BOTTLE GOURD PURI RECIPE…

  1. Firstly take one bottle gourd, wash it properly then peel it.
  2. Then grate it from small holes of grater. Firstly grate half bottle gourd only and if required then grate rest half afterwards.
  3. Now take one big bowl and add one bowl of wheat flour in it, then add four to five spoons of semolina, finely chopped green chilli, salt as per taste, three-fourth spoon of cumin seeds, one-fourth spoon of turmeric powder, little chilli flakes, little red chilli powder, little asafoetida.
  4. Then add grated bottle gourd. As bottle gourd leaves water so we will firstly mix all of them and then we will knead the dough by adding little water.
  5. Knead a tight dough of it and when it gets ready then add coriander leaves and the mix them very nicely. Then apply oil on the dough and leave it for five minutes by covering.
  6. After five minutes, dough gets well set. Knead it again nicely as the more good dough will be kneaded the more good puri will get ready.
  7. Then apply dry flour on palms as this dough is little sticky. Take a portion from dough and make a round ball of it.
  8. Then dip the round ball in the dry flour and then roll it nicely in a round shape. Same way roll other puri as well.
  9. Now keep a wok on gas and pour oil in it for deep frying the puri. When oil gets heated then add puri in the oil and let it cook.
  10. When puri starts to cook then turn it with spatula and deep fry it by turing till it becomes golden brown. Make it puff by presing it slightly with spatula.
  11. When puri gets well fried and becomes golden brown then take it out in a plate and same way deep fry rest of the puri.
  12. Our tasty and healthy “Bottle Gourd Puri” are ready to serve.

See, how tasty this puri is looking. It is just not looking tasty but it is very tasty in eating also. You can eat it with curd or pickle. You can have it with evening tea aslo as a snack with tea. It is not necessary to add chilli flakes and red chilli powder both in the dough, it is optional, so add as per your choice.

Don’t think that it’s a dhaba style dal tadka so it will be difficult or you cannot make like them. It is very simple to make this dal tadka and if you will make with my recipe then you will make best dhaba style dal tadka. There is nothing special required to make this dal. We need all the ingredients same as of normal dal.

CHECK THE RECIPE OF “DHABA STYLE DAL TADKA” IN HINDI HERE

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Pigeon Pea (Toor / Arhar Dal) – One Cup
  • Water
  • Spices (Salt- As per taste, Turmeric Powder, Asafoetida- One Pinch, Cumin Seeds- Two Spoon, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala)
  • Desi Ghee (Two Big Spoon)
  • Vegetables (Green Chilli, Ginger, Tomatoes, Coriander Leaves)
  • Dry Red Chilli (Three to Four)

DAL TADKA RECIPE…

  1. Firstly take one cup of pigeon pea and wash it properly. Then add it a big bowl and soak it in water for two hours.
  2. After two hours, dal gets well soaked. Remove the water from the dal and add the dal in the cooker and add three cups of water, salt as per taste and turmeric powder.
  3. Mix it once and close the cooker and keep it on gas. Let two whistles come and after two whistles, let it make pressure and then turn off the gas.
  4. Let the pressure out itself. When the pressure is out then open the cooker and dal will be well cooked.
  5. Now keep a wok on gas and pour one big spoon of desi ghee in it and let it heat. When ghee gets heated then add one pinch of asafoetida, one spoon of cumin seeds, finely chopped green chilli, chopped ginger and chopped tomatoes.
  6. Roast them and add little coriander leaves, coriander powder, red chilli powder and little garam masala. Mix them all and cook them till the tomatoes gets soft.
  7. When tomatoes gets soft and everything is well mixed with each other then add boiled dal and mix it nicely. If dal is thick then add little water and let it boil.
  8. When it gets boiled nicely then turn off the gas and add coriander leaves. Then take it out in a bowl.
  9. Now prepare tadka for dal. For it keep tadka pan on gas and pour one big spoon of desi ghee in it and let it heat.
  10. When ghee gets heated then add one spoon of cumin seeds, three to four dry red chillies. Roast them little and then turn off the gas.
  11. Now add red chilli powder and mix it. Then spread this tadka over dal.
  12. Delicious “Dhaba Style Dal Tadka” is ready to serve.

Hello Foodies..! Summers are near by and potato papad season is coming. Everyone likes to eat potato papad. So today I will tell you four flavours potato papad. You can store them and whenever you wants to eat that time only deep fry them and enjoy them. These are very simple to make and procedure of all four flavours is same. There is just a difference of ingredients in every flavour.

You can serve them to guests and as Holi is also coming and many guest come to our house so you can prepare these papad for them. As we all know at the time of Holi several dishes are served to guests so make these papad in advance only and reduce your festival workload.

So friends, Welcome to my kitchen and let’s start the recipe..

CHECK THE RECIPE OF “4 FLAVOUR POTATO PAPAD” IN HINDI HERE

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Boiled Potatoes
  • Salt- As per taste
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Crushed Red Chilli / Chilli Flakes
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • Rock Salt
  • Dry Mint Leaves
  • Mustard Oil
  • Refined Oil

4 FLAVOUR POTATO PAPAD RECIPE…

1. SIMPLE POTATO PAPAD

a) Firstly grate the boiled potatoes then add salt as per taste, cumin seeds and chilli flakes or crushed red chilli. (If you don’t have chilli flakes and crushed red chilli then you can add red chilli powder as well)

b) Mix all of them nicely and when they gets well mixed then add little mustard oil and mix it well.

c) Now apply little oil on palms and take some portion of mixture and make a round ball of it and keep it in a plate. Same way make all the round balls and keep them in a plate.

d) Then take one plastic polythene and apply little oil on and then keep one round ball on the oil and then cover it with another plastic polythene.

e) Now keep rolling board on the polythene and press it. Even and thin papad will get ready. Remove the above polythene and same way make all the papad and let them dry.

2. CORIANDER LEAVES POTATO PAPAD

a) Take grated boiled potatoes and add coriander leaves, salt as per taste, red chilli powder. (Water should not be there in coriander leaves and there should not be any moisture as well)

b) Mix all of them nicely and when they gets well mixed then add little mustard oil and mix it well.

c) Now apply little oil on palms and take some portion of mixture and make a round ball of it and keep it in a plate. Same way make all the round balls and keep them in a plate.

d) Then take one plastic polythene and apply little oil on and then keep one round ball on the oil and then cover it with another plastic polythene.

e) Now keep rolling board on the polythene and press it. Even and thin papad will get ready. Remove the above polythene and same way make all the papad and let them dry.

3. BLACK PEPPER POWDER POTATO POWDER

a) Take grated boiled potatoes and add rock salt, black pepper powder.

b) Mix all of them nicely and when they gets well mixed then add little refined oil and mix it well.

c) Now apply little oil on palms and take some portion of mixture and make a round ball of it and keep it in a plate. Same way make all the round balls and keep them in a plate.

d) Then take one plastic polythene and apply little oil on and then keep one round ball on the oil and then cover it with another plastic polythene.

e) Now keep rolling board on the polythene and press it. Even and thin papad will get ready. Remove the above polythene and same way make all the papad and let them dry.

NOTE: This papad can be eaten in fasts also and I have made it specially for fasts only as I have added rock salt in place of normal salt and refined oil in place of mustard oil.

a) Take grated boiled potatoes and add salt as per taste, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and dry mint leaves by crushing them between palms.

b) Mix all of them nicely and when they gets well mixed then add little mustard oil and mix it well.

c) Now apply little oil on palms and take some portion of mixture and make a round ball of it and keep it in a plate. Same way make all the round balls and keep them in a plate.

d) Then take one plastic polythene and apply little oil on and then keep one round ball on the oil and then cover it with another plastic polythene.

e) Now keep rolling board on the polythene and press it. Even and thin papad will get ready. Remove the above polythene and same way make all the papad and let them dry.

FOR DEEP FRYING PAPAD:

Deep fry them when they gets dry completely then only.

a) Keep a wok on gas and pour oil in it for deep frying.

b) When oil gets highly heated then add papad in the wok and deep fry them.

c) When they gets well deep fried then take them out in a plate.

See, how good they have become after deep frying. You can dry them in sunlight or shaded area as per your choice. Mint Leaves Potato Papad is very tasty and you must give a try to it for sure. All others flavours are also very tasty but mine favourite is mint leaves flavour papad.

I have taken the quantity for three members. Speciality of this “Macroni Chaat” is that you can boil macroni in the morning only and whenever you wants to eat then make it. I have made it very tasty and you must try it atleast once and I am sure you will love it’s taste.

CHECK THE RECIPE OF “MACRONI CHAAT” IN HINDI HERE

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Macroni (One Bowl)
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Vegetables (Carrot, Capsicum, Tomato, Green Chilli)
  • Butter (One Spoon)
  • Chilli Flakes (Three-Fourth Spoon)
  • Oregano (Three-Fourth Spoon)
  • Black Pepper Powder (One-Fourth Spoon)
  • Tomato Ketchup (One Spoon)
  • Cream (Two Spoon)

MACRONI CHAAT RECIPE…

  1. Firstly take one bowl of macroni. Then keep water in a pot for heating. When water starts to boil then add half spoon of salt and two spoon of oil in it.
  2. Mix them well and then add macroni and let it boil for two-three minutes. After two-three minutes, make the flame low, cover it and let it cook for two minutes on low flame.
  3. After two minutes, turn off the gas and leave it as it is for ten minutes. After ten minutes, you will see macroni has increased it’s size and it has boiled nicely.
  4. Remove the water with the help of strainer and them wash it with cold water so that they don’t stick to each other. Then let it cool.
  5. Now keep a wok on gas and pour two spoon of oil in it and let it heat. When oil gets heated then add half bowl of chopped carrot, one-fourth bowl of chopped capsicum. (Cut carrot and capsicum in long pieces)
  6. Roast them little then add two green chillies by cutting them long. Cook all of them nicely and when they get fried then take them out in a plate.
  7. Remove the oil which was left after frying the vegetable. Now again keep a wok on gas and pour one spoon of butter in it and let it melt.
  8. When butter gets melted then add three-fourth bowl of chopped tomatoes. Cook them well till they gets soft.
  9. When they becomes soft then add three-fourth spoon of chilli flakes, three-fourth spoon of oregano, one-fourth spoon of black pepper powder and salt as per taste. (Add salt by keeping in mind that salt was added while boiling macroni)
  10. Mix them well and then add one spoon of tomato ketchup and cook them well. Then add two spoon of cream and mix them nicely.
  11. When everything is well mixed then add fried vegetables and mix them well. Then add boiled macroni and mix everything very nicely with each other.
  12. Our tasty “Macroni Chaat” is ready to serve.

Hello Foodies..! Today I will tell you the recipe of “Wheat Flour Biscuit”. I have made these biscuits in a wok. Speciality of these biscuits is you can store them for one-two months easily. When you can eat healthy then why to eat unhealthy.. These are homemade biscuits that I have made with wheat flour instead of refined flour because we all know that refined flour is not good for health. These are very tasty biscuits. Once you will make them at home then you will not buys biscuits again from market for daily snacking.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Wheat Flour (One Bowl)
  • Semolina (One Bowl)
  • Sugar (One Bowl)
  • Ghee (Half Bowl)
  • Warm Milk (Half Cup)
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Ghee For Deep Frying

WHEAT FLOUR BISCUIT RECIPE…

  1. For it take one bowl of wheat flour, one bowl of semolina, one bowl of sugar, half bowl of ghee, half cup of warm milk and cardamom powder.
  2. Add sugar in warm milk and mix it nicely. Keep 2-3 spoon sugar aside.
  3. Take one big mixing bowl and add wheat flour, semolina, cardamom powder. Mix all of them well.
  4. Then add ghee in it and mix it well. Add ghee slowly-slowly as per requirement.
  5. Now add milk that we prepared by adding sugar and knead a dough of it. The should not be very tight nor too soft.
  6. When dough is kneaded then add two-three spoon of sugar that we kept aside and again knead it nicely and make the dough smooth.
  7. Now take small portion of dough and make a round ball of it and then press it slightly. Then make design on it using fork or any utensil from the kitchen and then keep it in a plate.
  8. Same way make all the biscuits and keep them in a plate.
  9. Now keep a wok on gas and pour ghee in it for deep frying the biscuits and let it heat. When ghee gets highly heated then add biscuits in the ghee and deep fry them. (Add biscuits in highly hot oil only otherwise they will get spread in the ghee)
  10. When they starts to cook then make the flame low and then deep fry them as this way they will get deep fried from inside as well and will become crispy.
  11. Deep fry them by turning till they gets golden brown. When they gets golden brown then take them out in a plate and on a napkin so that napkin can absorb extra ghee.
  12. Same way deep fry all the biscuits and our tasty “Wheat Flour Biscuits” are ready to serve.

Store them in an air tight container for one-two months easily. As they gets ready in very less time so you can make them whenever you wants to eat homemade biscuits. You can serve them to your guests as well and they will also like them for sure. If ghee is not available for deep frying the biscuits then you can deep fry them in an oil as well but when they are deep fried in a ghee then they gives very good taste. Hello Foodies..! Today I have the recipe of “Rice Dahi Vade”. I have made them with leftover rice. Most of the time what happens, we want to eat dahi vade but we don’t have soaked dal so don’t worry we can make tasty and soft dahi vade with rice. Many times our rice are left when we make them for lunch or dinner so instead of wasting them you can utilise them in making everyone’s favourite dahi vade.

It does not require much efforts and very easily they gets ready. So friends, Welcome to my kitchen and let’s start the recipe..

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Left Over Rice
  • Ginger & Green Chilli
  • Curd (Small Bowl)
  • Water
  • Semolina (Two Big Spoon)
  • (Salt- As per taste, Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder, Red Chilli Powder)
  • Baking Soda (One Pinch)
  • Oil
  • Churned Curd
  • Green Chutney
  • Sweet Chutney

RICE DAHI VADE RECIPE…

  1. For it take left over rice, then take grinder jar and add chopped ginger, one green chilli by cutting it , one small bowl of curd and rice.
  2. Grind all of them nicely and prepare a paste of them. Take out the paste in a big mixing bowl.
  3. Now add two big spoon of semolina and mix it well. Add little water if the mixture is thick and then again give it a nice mix.
  4. Then cover it and keep it aside for ten minutes to set it well. After ten minutes it gets set well. Now check it if required then add water and if mixture is perfect then don’t add.
  5. Now add salt as per taste, one pinch of baking soda and then mix it nicely. Our better is ready to make dahi vade.
  6. Keep a wok on gas containing oil in it for deep frying dahi vade. Let the oil get heat and when oil gets heated then make the flame low and then add mixture in the oil in the form of vade.
  7. Deep fry them by turning on low-medium flame. Deep fry them till they gets golden brown. When they are well fried and becomes golden brown then take them out in a plate.
  8. Take water in a bowl and add salt in it and mix it well. Then add vade in that water and dip them for two minutes. Then squeeze the water from them and keep them in a plate.
  9. Take 2 vade without dipping in salty water and two from the dipped in a plate. Now spread churned curd on the vade, add churned curd in a good quantity as it gives very good taste.
  10. Then spread green chutney, sweet chutney, roasted cumin seeds powder, little salt, little red chilli powder.
  11. Tasty and soft “Rice Dahi Vade” are ready to serve.

Guys, give a try to these instant dahi vade and you will like them a lot. Chutney you can add as per your choice and taste. If you are making for kids and they don’t eat spicy then you can skip green chutney and red chilli powder. It is not necessary to wait for left over rice to make these dahi vade, if you don’t have left over rice and you wants to eat dahi vade then make rice as rice does not take much time in getting ready.

Hello Foodies..! Everyone likes to eat kachori and when it is “Potato Kachori” then no one can deny to eat. So, today I will tell you the recipe of “Potato Kachori” in a unique style. I have made these kachori with wheat flour instead of refined flour because refined flour is not good for health and makes feel heavy. You can make these kachori whenever you wants to eat as wheat flour is always available at home.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Wheat Flour (One Bowl)
  • Spices (Salt- As per taste, Cumin Seeds, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Fennel Seeds Powder, Garam Masala, Dry Fenugreek Leaves)
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Ginger
  • Boiled Mashed Potatoes
  • Gram Flour (Two Spoon)
  • Coriander Leaves

POTATO KACHORI RECIPE…

  1. Firstly prepare a dough. For it take one bowl of wheat flour in a big mixing bowl, then add salt as per taste. Mix it well.
  2. Then add two spoon of oil and mix oil nicely with flour.
  3. Now add water and knead a dough of it. We have to knead a normal dough of it.
  4. When dough gets ready then apply one to one and a half spoon of oil on the dough and then knead it again nicely and make it smooth.
  5. When dough gets smooth and ready then cover it and keep it aside.
  6. Now prepare stuffing. For it keep a pan on gas and pour one spoon of oil in it and let it heat. When oil gets heated then add little cumin seeds and let it get little roasted.
  7. Then add chopped ginger and roast it also and then add mashed potatoes. Now make the flame low and add spices.
  8. Add salt as per taste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds powder, garam masala, dry fenugeek leaves, two spoon of gram flour.
  9. Mix each and every ingredient with each other nicely. When they gets well mixed then turn off the gas and add coriander leaves. Let the stuffing get cool.
  10. Now dough must be well set. Knead it once again and take some portion of dough and make round ball of it. Then press it with fingers and make it big then fill the stuffing and then close it by joining edges with each other.
  11. Then apply little oil and roll it round. Same way prepare all the kachori and keep them in a plate.
  12. Now keep a wok on gas containing oil in it for deep frying the kachori. Let the oil get highly heated. When oil is highly heated then add kachori and deep fry them.
  13. When they starts to cook then make the flame low so that they can become crispy from inside. Deep fry them by turning till they gets golden brown.
  14. When they gets golden brown and well fried then take them out in a plate.
  15. Tasty “Potato Kachori” are ready to serve.

Hello Foodies..! Today I have the recipe of “Rawa Dosa” for you all and speciality of this dosa is that you need not to plan anything before. You can make it instantly without prior preparations. It is not necessary to eat this dosa with sambhar only. You can eat it with chutney also as it gives very good taste with chutney. The dosa that takes one day to get prepare as we have to soak rice and pulse, that dosa will get ready in just few minutes.

It is a very easy recipe and very tasty and crispy dosa gets ready. You will get the taste of dosa that we make of rice and pulse as I have used rice flour also for making this dosa. Rice flour plays an important role in making the dosa crispy. So, it’s and important ingredient if you wants to eat crispy dosa.

INGREDIENTS WE NEED..

  • Semolina (One Cup)
  • Rice Flour (One Cup)
  • Refined Flour (One Spoon)
  • Vegetables (Green Chilli, Coriander Leaves, Ginger)
  • Spices (Cumin Seeds- Half Spoon, Asafoetida- One Pinch, Black Pepper Powder- One Spoon, Salt- As per taste)
  • Water (Four to Five Cups)
  • Oil

RAWA DOSA RECIPE…

  1. Take one big mixing bowl and add one cup of semolina, one cup of rice flour and one spoon of refined flour. Mix all of them nicely.
  2. Then add one finely chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, one inch grated ginger, one spoon of black pepper powder, salt as per taste, one pinch of asafoetida and half spoon of cumin seeds.
  3. Mix all of them nicely and then add two cups of water and mix them well. There should not be lumps and then again add two cups of water and mix it well. We want thin batter so we will add half cup of water more.
  4. Now keep the batter aside for ten minutes to set it well. After ten minutes, batter gets set well, give it a mix.
  5. Keep a pan on gas and grease it with oil. When pan gets little heated then pour batter all over the pan as batter is thin it will get spread itself. Set it well by rotating the pan. (Do not make the pan highly heated)

6. Apply oil at the edges and little on the above surface and let it cook on low-medium flame.

7. When it changes it’s colour then turn it and cook it little from another side as well.

8. When it gets little cook from another side then turn it and fold it. Now take it out in a plate.

9. Tasty and crispy “Rawa Dosa” is ready to serve.

I have made plain dosa but if you want you can make masala dosa. It will get ready that good that everyone will praise you. It is a very light and tasty snack for kids.
